Brand Brief:

Sunkissed Suncare is a clean beauty brand crafted with gourmet blends of organic milks, extracts, oils, and vitamins to hydrate, nourish, and protect. It repositions sunscreen as a daily self-care ritual—because if self-love says “I love you,” then self-care says “prove it.” Even on busy days, there’s time to pause with intention.

Brand Direction:

After establishing the brand strategy, I led the brand direction for Sunkissed Suncare to reimagine SPF as an intentional self-care ritual. Through sun-washed tones, organic materials, and bottle forms inspired by softness and glow, the brand invites users to protect and nourish their skin with calm, everyday beauty.

Concept Strategy:

If summer by the beach could be bottled, this would be it. Inspired by Aquamarine, Spanglish, and The Summer I Turned Pretty, the brand channels coastal nostalgia—sun-drenched memories, the calm of salt air, and ocean serenity. We reposition sun care as a feel-good ritual rooted in beauty, self-love, and everyday escape.

 Creative Direction:

Rooted in self-acceptance, nourishment, and celebrating natural beauty instead of the desire for makeup or filters. Inspired by sun-warmed skin, seaside daydreams, and the joy of building sandcastles, it channels wonder and ease. The direction invites calm and intention, reframing SPF as a gentle, joy-filled ritual of care, presence, and everyday magic.

Art Direction:

Inspired by the unique beauty of sea glass—its varied shapes and hues—the visual identity embraces imperfection and individuality. This sensibility guided the brand, packaging, and marketing design, as well as model casting, with each element reflecting a rich spectrum of tones, textures, and features that celebrate natural beauty in all its forms.

The Challenge:

Design a brand that reclaims the narrative of sunscreen from a necessary preventative measure against sun damage and skin cancer to a sensory experience you seek at the start and end of your day. In a saturated market, reshape perceptions by reframing sun protection from a chore to a relaxing act of self-care or a joyful ritual shared with friends.

The Goal:

Position sunscreen as an SPF experience that supports well-being and reinforces its everyday importance, whether skiing, dancing, or lounging in the backyard. Design packaging that doubles as functional decor. By elevating form and storytelling, the brand reimagines sun protection as a daily act of self-love and self-respect, not just prevention.

The Approach:

I led the project from the ground up with full strategic and creative freedom. From naming the brand to shaping its aesthetic, I designed every element through my own creative lens—guiding the identity, packaging, and marketing to reflect a self-loving, sensory experience rooted in intention, elegance, and joyful imagination

The Result:

Built a unique brand identity that redefines how SPF is perceived to stay competitive in a saturated market. Developed a luxurious sun care brand positioned as a wellness-forward skin serum, housed in innovatively designed bottles. Unlike bulky competitors, these stylish, functional products bring modern elegance to any space, at home or on the go.
